In Bad Mergentheim, a visit to the Mergentheim Residence Palace with the attached Teutonic Order Museum, which hosts various exhibitions, is especially recommended. If you prefer to relax and stretch your legs after your route, we suggest ending the day with a relaxing visit to the Solymar Thermal Spa. If you feel like more active variety, you will find it at the Leiser Mini Golf Park in the neighboring town of Markelsheim.
Along the route, besides the Old and New St. Kilian's Church in Assamstadt, the Frankendom in Wölchingen is definitely a must-see. The Romanesque church from the 13th century is an impressive structure and is officially designated as a cycling route church. The Madonna by Matthias Grünewald in Stuppach and the historic tithe barn from the 12th century next to the collegiate church in Königshofen complete the cultural journey.
