The "Wimpfener Talmarkt" (Bad Wimpfen Valley Market) is a large folk festival with more than 1000 years of tradition. Six days of pure fun with Ferris wheel, break dance, lottery booths, various children's rides, festival beer, bratwurst, cotton candy and everything that belongs to a festival for the whole family.

Worth seeing is, in addition to a wide range of entertainment, the famous Krämermarkt. It is one of the largest in Germany and offers a wide range of novelties, from buttons to traditional costumes. The offer is supplemented with the large trade show on the valley market area. More than 40 exhibitors present their products and services and provide visitors with information.

Historical background:

The Bad Wimpfen valley market is considered one of the oldest markets in Germany. Already more than 1000 years ago the today's valley market developed from the pilgrimage streams of the patron saint festival around the knight's collegiate church St. Peter in Bad Wimpfen.
