This route is perfect for a short evening ride or a leisurely family outing on the weekend. In the medieval town of Wertheim, you will find a whole range of sights, foremost the castle ruins towering above the town. As a protected monument ensemble, Wertheim has much more to offer: be it a walk through the alleys of the old town with its historic half-timbered houses, a look into the Kilians Chapel, or a visit to the Glass Museum – Wertheim is simply worth a visit.
During the route around the large Main loop, it is also worth making a stop at the Factory Outlet Center "Wertheim Village". Additionally, you can fill your panniers with some tempting energy snacks for the road at the adjacent shop of the chocolate manufactory "Art of Chocolate" or – also next door – practice a headstand at Toppel's Twisted World. The wine villages of Dertingen and Lindelbach invite you to taste one of those fine drops, which, thanks to the mild climate that the Main brings, are known here for their exceptional quality.

At Bettingen, you turn off from the Main onto meadows and fields and circle the two elevations of Bremen and Büstrich, where a few elevation meters await you. Afterwards, the path leads you along the Main from Urphar back to Wertheim.
