Every year on the last weekend in August, medieval crafts move into Bad Wimpfen. In the tradition of the former harbor market granted by King Wenceslas to the imperial city potters' guild in 1391, the guild market delights its visitors with handicrafts, dance and music.

To admire are numerous craftsmen, such as lamp makers, brush makers, rake makers, garment cutters, glass blowers, calligraphers, instrument makers, ... but not only old crafts attract! In addition to jugglers, minstrels and dancers, knights and guards also enhance the impression of medieval hustle and bustle. The craftsmen and traders are distributed over the entire Staufer palace complex and show their handicrafts and their work in a realistic historical setting,

The annual guild market is organized by the association Zunftmarkt in cooperation with the city administration.
