Heilbronner Weinlesefest (Heilbronn vintage festival)

The wine harvest is celebrated in the wine town of Heilbronn with a cozy wine harvest festival in the middle of the Wartberg vineyard landscape. After a guided hike, starting at the historic Baumkelter, an entertaining program and all kinds of culinary delights await you.

12 noon Start of the grape harvest festival on the wine terraces by the elevated tank with refreshments

1 p.m. Meeting point at the old wine press at Riedstraße 29 near the Rolf Heinrich winery. Welcome by Käthchen von Heilbronn, serving of new wine.

1:30 p.m. A guided wine hike starts at the historic Baumkelter and follows the Wine Panorama Trail to the elevated water tank on Wartberg hill.

3 p.m. Ecumenical service with Prelate Ralf Albrecht and Pastor Markus Pfeiffer, musical accompaniment by the trombone choir and the Urbanus Choir.

4 p.m. Welcome speeches by Daniel Drautz, managing director of the Heilbronn Cooperative Winery, Mayor Harry Mergel, Peter Albrecht, vice president of the Württemberg Winegrowers' Association, Kim Weißflog, Württemberg Wine Queen, and Käthchen von Heilbronn.

As parking spaces on the Wartberg are very limited, the organisers ask that you use public transport (line B) if possible. The latest return journey from the Wartberg is at 6:08 p.m.
