Protected by defiant masonry, the historic half-timbered houses nestle next to the castle and Carmelite monastery and characterize the magic of the medieval city. Worth seeing are the impressive castle complex with castle, the Carmelite monastery with its Gothic monastery church, the Ersheim chapel and the medieval townscape. After a visit to the Neckar barrage and the "Langbein Museum", the small but nice family park on the Neckar offers enough space for rest and relaxation. Hirschhorn is also a stop on the Neckarsteig quality hiking trail. Our tip: Knight's festival with craftsman's village and medieval hustle and bustle on the first weekend in September.
