After the approximately 3 km long ascent past the Laurentius Chapel, the path lined with fruit trees and hedges leads you to Grünsfeldhausen. Through the Grünbach valley further to Grünsfeld and along beautiful wetlands, it goes steadily downhill past Gerlachsheim to Lauda.
