LT 20 Herbsthäuser beer hiking route

You start from the Herbsthausen brewery on the cycling path "Der Sportive". First, the route leads a short way south, then west through open fields – here you can already enjoy a nice view of Rot. Soon you reach Rot with its typical rural scenery, charming half-timbered houses, and a chapel on the outskirts. Above the village lies a small lake with a rest area – perfect for a break. Behind Rot, you follow the Wachbach through the meadows to the reservoir. Then it continues through a small forest area into Dörtel. In Dörtel, the path follows the Wachbach along the street to the village edge and then heads southeast up to the parking lot at Kaiserstraße. After crossing Kaiserstraße, you walk on a paved path into the forest, into the area "Hofholz", to the Hubertus hut with a nice rest area. From there you continue southwest through the high forest in the area "Kammerforst" to the B 290. After crossing the road, the path leads past the water tower back to the Herbsthausen brewery.
