Easy, varied hike through farmland, a narrow ravine, and quiet high forest with short ascents on natural paths.

First from Schlossplatz (town hall) in Külsheim down the Kirchbergweg stairs to the main street / the start of the pedestrian zone.

From there, turn left westwards towards Steinbach. At the bus stop (town center) keep right and walk downstream along the stream through the Hildbrandzellenklinge.

Shortly after crossing the second ravine approaching from the right, turn sharply south, through beautiful high forest up the hill to a shelter with playground (3) and past it on a forest road to the edge of the forest.

There turn right following the forest edge and on field paths to the settlement "Roter Rain".

Then southeast over the Galgenberg and through the pedestrian zone back to the starting point at the town hall in Külsheim.

Külsheim: castle with bergfried, historic fountains, town hall with timber framing, wayside shrines
