Meditative hiking route: Marktplatz Werbach - Werbachhausen - Pilgrimage Chapel Liebfrauenbrunn - Marktplatz Werbach Moderately difficult, varied hiking route through vineyards and forest areas with magnificent views of the Pilgrimage Chapel Liebfrauenbrunn and the Welzbachtal valley Please note: The path at the Liebfrauenbrunn chapel is currently closed due to construction work. The round route is best experienced clockwise: Start at the market square in Werbach and reach the parish church St. Martin after a few steps. From there, a comfortable, flat path leads past the cemetery to the edge of the village. A gently rising farm road takes you up into the vineyard area "Hirschberg", which you cross on a pleasant, flat stretch. Returning to the Welzbachtal valley to Werbachhausen is via a natural path through dry grasslands and open forest - ideal to enjoy the tranquility of the landscape. In Werbachhausen, the circular route leads past the village church and the cemetery and initially on an almost flat path, later on a charming trail, reaches the Pilgrimage Chapel Liebfrauenbrunn. After visiting the spring in the basement of the chapel, the route continues along the Kneipp facility back to Werbach - to the starting point of your hike.

By train or bus to Werbach

From the market square in Werbach, you reach the parish church St. Martin after a short distance. From here, it goes on a flat path past the cemetery to the edge of the village. A farm road leads you with a slight incline into the vineyard area "Hirschberg", which is crossed on a flat stretch. Returning to the Welzbachtal valley to Werbachhausen is on a natural path through dry grasslands and open forest. In Werbachhausen, the circular hiking route runs past the village church and the cemetery and initially on an almost flat path, later on a trail, reaches the Pilgrimage Chapel Liebfrauenbrunn. Refreshed by a cooling at the spring in the basement of the chapel, you pass a Kneipp facility and continue to Werbach, the starting point of the hike.
