The central theme of the natural park is: Wine. Forest. Well-being.With its 33,000 ha is Stromberg-Heuchelberg a small natural park, but for the many cities in the surrounding area the natural park is an island of peace and relaxation.

The main duty of the natural park is the maintenance of the unique cultural landscape. With its wide views, soft contours and the beautiful nature, Stromberg-Heuchelberg contains all attributes which define a beautiful landscape. On the southern slope wines like Lemberger, Trollinger, Riesling and Kerner were produced. A further cultural highlight is the Cistercian monastery of Maulbronn which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing.

Because of the attractive and extensive network of cycle and hiking tracks, the natural park is a paradise for cyclists and hikers.
