The municipality of Obrigheim consists of three suburbs: Obrigheim, Mörtelstein and Asbach. Obrigheim is located on the west bank of the Neckar directly on Burgenstrasse, the municipal area belongs to the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park and the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park. The social, cultural and sporting offerings in Obrigheim are extremely diverse. There are a number of leisure facilities available, such as rest and relaxation areas, a local museum, a plaster nature trail, a goldfish history trail, a forest hut and a mini golf course. Obrigheim's oldest building, Neuburg Castle, dates back to the 14th century, stands on a rock that slopes steeply down to the Neckar.
