To bring people closer to the splendor of the starry sky, you need a good telescope and an unrestricted view of the night sky.
Due to the increasing light pollution in cities, this is less and less possible here in Germany. Meckesheim in particular has this rather dark location / possibility to be able to observe well outdoors.
