Weihnachtsmarkt im Kloster Maulbronn

Atmospheric market for the whole family When the wonderful aroma of biscuits and mulled wine wafts over the monastery courtyard, it's Christmas market time again in Maulbronn. On Saturday from 12:00 to 21:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00, over 100 festively decorated stalls are set against the magnificent backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Maulbronn Monastery.

At more than two thirds of the stalls, woodwork and handicrafts, floristry, nativity scenes, jewellery, toys and other arts and crafts ensure the high quality of the market. Thanks to an equally varied and typically Christmassy culinary offering- bratwurst, Schupfnudeln, vegetable rice pancakes, flamed salmon, Maultaschen and venison goulash, to name just a few examples - the physical well-being is also catered for. Meanwhile, mulled wine, children's tea and punch will warm you up from the inside. The Maulbronn Protestant Seminary invites you to enjoy soup, punch and homemade surprises in the cellar of the monastery mill.

Music and singing groupscreate an atmospheric supporting programme on both days. There will be Christmas carols to listen to and sing along to at various points around the market.
