Winery Bauer

The winery currently cultivates around 8 hectares of vine area directly in the vineyards of Heilbronn. The focus is on the production of red wines. Great importance is attached to the careful handling of the grapes in the vineyards and high quality standards in the cellar.

Wine experiences
In addition to wine tastings at the winery and the wine table, where you can find out which wine goes best with which food, the winery also offers its “wine experience tour”. After a short ride in a covered wagon through the vineyards, the tour continues on foot to the panoramic wine terrace, where the convivial wine tasting takes place. The highlight of the annual calendar is the farm festival in May with indoor and outdoor catering. The own wines, spirits and sparkling wines can be sampled here. Live music provides good entertainment and homemade food is served with the wines.
Weingut Bauer is also an excellent starting point or stopover for a cycle tour on the 4* quality cycle route “Württemberger Weinradweg”. The route leads past numerous vineyards and local winegrowers and is recommended for connoisseurs.

There are 20 modern rooms available in the guest house. The guest house has been rewarded as a Weinsüden Hotel. The Besenwirtschaft at the Bauer winery is a modern interpretation of the typical regional wine taverns with honest, down-to-earth and, above all, home-made Besen specialties.
